Mecate Reins natural horsemanship yacht braid double braid MFP over Polyester rope

These Knotty Girlz mecate reins are made using premium 5/8" double braid MFP (multifilament polypropylene) over polyester yacht rope. Choose which style you prefer, with options of poppers each end, or popper one end and rope tassel on the other.  With length options of 22 and 24ft. along with a variety of colors, you are sure to find something to fit your needs. Remember when matching with halters and other products, you look for other items with MFP Rope.

    I bought my daughter the raspberry mecate reins, and we absolutely love them! Great quality reins, and the color matches her saddle pad perfectly! I love the weight of them, it gives our mare a quick release of pressure when the reins are dropped, she can also feel the reins being picked up before there is contact on the bit, which makes for a very soft horse!
