Knotty Girlz Essentials Set: 4-Knot Stiff Halter + 12ft Lead Rope

Whether you are starting colts in a round pen or working on basic ground manners, there are two pieces of tack that are essential for every horse owner - a halter and lead.

Stiff 4-Knot  Halter:

Our best-selling 4-Knot Stiff Halter offers more than your typical webbed halters. Designed for versatility and communication, the stiff halter works well for general purpose and training sessions. The 4 knots along the nose are strategically placed to enhance the clarity of your cues, providing the perfect balance between comfort and communication. Made from our ¼” stiff polyester rope, these halters can withstand the elements without stretching, fading, or dry rotting.

12ft Lead Rope:

This set also includes a 12ft Knotty Girlz Lead Rope with a hitched in stainless steel trigger bull snap. Made from our 9/16” double braided polyester yacht rope, this lead rope has the perfect weighted feel with durability and color that matches the halter. The lead rope comes in a 12 ft length which offers the perfect balance of freedom and guidance during groundwork exercises. One end boasts a solid stainless steel snap that can be removed for a metal free set up, and the other end is finished with a hand cut premium leather popper.

Set Features:
  • Premium UV + weather resistant polyester rope
  • Four knots for enhanced communication
  • Lightweight stiff rope that holds shape
  • Rust Resistant Hardware
  • Versatile lead length for freedom and guidance
  • Weighted lead rope for better feel
  • Handcrafted in the USA

At Knotty Girlz all of our tack is handcrafted for connection. We are committed to using the highest quality materials so we can offer clinician level products at an affordable price.

Safety Notice: Rope halters, while excellent training tools, are not designed for continuous wear. To ensure the well-being of your equine companion, we strongly advise against leaving the halter on when your horse is unattended.

    Halter and lead

Love these products, I have many. They hold up well, come in so many sizes and colors. Very effective when working horses on the ground.
